Try To Bring Back Facial Features

The older I get the more appealing the idea of permanent makeup becomes.  I remember my mom bringing up the subject years ago of having her eyebrows tattooed and all I could say was "What?!?"  I was much younger than, but I get it now.  I am approaching an age where the eyebrows are thinning and the eyelashes are becoming lighter, so let me have that conversation again with my dear mother and I would reply to her, 'I hear ya!  Let's make it a Mother/Daughter day!'

It is truly surprising to look in the mirror and see all of those changes that I've been reading about in magazines, and hearing about on talk shows, really happening to my face.  I see my face from certain angles in photos and my first thought is, 'I don't remember my mom being there?'  Time for me to look into makeup that will help the definition come back to my eyes.   I've had my brows filled in by a makeup artist and I was surprised how much it lifted my eye.  I'm ready for that look to be permanent and not get washed away at night.  Come to think of it, a little permanent lip liner would be nice too.  Just where the heck are my facial features going?

Thinking Of Something Shiny

There are certain things that define a "special night out" for me.  The first, finding someone I trust as a child-sitter.  Second, putting on eyeliner and third, wearing my diamond stud earrings.  I have this thing for diamonds and a special fondness for pearls.  When I wear diamonds I want them to sparkle and shine, a little reminder of what my eyes looked like before I had two children ;->

When my birthday roles around, or the time of our wedding anniversary draws near, I like to daydream about Elizabeth Taylor sized diamonds lingering on my fingers.  What am I talking about 'lingering'?  That lovely lady had diamonds that didn't linger?  They draped, they enveloped, they took prominence on her. Now that is an image that's beautiful to me.  And I wouldn't mind having something like that to call my very own.
