Pillsbury Baguette Chips Giveaway!

 

I've tried the latest snack from Pillsbury and they are delicious - Pillsbury Baguette Chips.  With 130 calories per serving, which is about 21 baguette chips, Pillsbury Baguette Chips are delicious snack chips that I don't feel the least bit guilty eating.

These chips are available in two flavors; Italian Cheese & Herb and Cheddar Sundried Tomato.  The Italian Cheese & Herb were very tasty alone and they added a great alternative for croutons for my salad and a tasty topping for my home-made Mac & Cheese.

I have to say the Cheddar Sundried Tomato could be my snacking downfall.  YUM!  Right out of the bag was my favorite way to eat these.  These chips had a nice, lightly crunchy texture that was just right for my taste and became a new favorite for my daughters.  We've been thinking of different flavors we'd like them to come out with next.  Do you have any suggestions?  You can find a coupon for .75 cents off your purchase of Pillsbury Baguette Chips here, and get inspired to create a new flavor.

L'Oreal Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara Review

This mascara is doing the trick for me!  L'Oreal Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara is bumping up these thinning, mid-40's lashes of mine and creating a look that reminds me of what my lashes looked like when I was "twenty-something".

The fact that you can see my eyelashes in this picture, taken last night with an iPhone, is proof that this mascara delivers.  This result was with just one coat of 'black' and at the end of the evening there were no smudges, no bits of mascara laying on my cheeks, the mascara stayed on my lashes and washed off easily with an over-all face cleanser.  (I'm still looking for an eye makeup remover that doesn't irritate my eyes.

The brush scared me a bit, to be honest.  It looked like it was going to create a clumpy mess of lashes, and I was late for our reservation and no time to re-do my eye make-up!, so I pushed through and was so happy to see that the brush glided over my lashes with no clumping, only delivering a layer of mascara that thickened my lashes and helped me find "my eyes" ;->


Today I'll wear two coats of L'Oreal Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara for a graduation party we're attending and see how it does.

Applying two coats was very easy, and the mascara went on without any clumping.  My lashes stayed curled and didn't straighten all afternoon.

Summer season is upon us and this is the one time of the year that my fellow neighbors and I in the Pacific Northwest get to host outside parties, like a Barbeque or a pool party.  We do love the rain that brings the greenery however, when the sun shines we are outside to soak in as much Vitamin D as we can take.  (And we complain about the heat of course, but most of us will take the sun any time).

Brazil Butt Lift Review - Let's Try This Again

(*I bought this months ago but didn't keep up.  I'm back at it and here's my progress.)

I've tried various exercises for the ol' gluteus maximus over the years and nothing has given the results that I feel should be there after the time and effort I've put into them.  I'm lifting, I'm lunging, I'm squatting.  I'm frustrated! I'm in my mid-forties and I know that my cellulite tush isn't going to get smaller on its own.  I'm willing to put in the work but I'm tired of no real results.  So, on I go to try Leandro Carvahalo's "Brazil Butt Lift".  

With this program you receive 3 DVDs that include 6 exercise routines and a booklet to help guide you toward which routines will work best for your body type and your desired results.  In the beginning I was diligent in sticking with the routines but honestly, it was too long.  My program would last almost an hour and a half and that's just too long most days.  (My plan begins with dancing/cardio then targeted exercises.) 


I'm not much of a dancy-aerobic gal.  I mean, I don't mind moving around, waving my arms and strutting from here to there but honestly, I just want standing, or floor, exercises that will tone my body.  Brazil Butt Lift has plenty of dancing/cardio options - "Bum Bum" and "Cardio Axe" -  if you are in the mood to burn some calories that way.  However, where his exercises truly work are with the targeted moves on "High & Tight" and "Sculpt".

I'm 2 weeks into actually sticking to the sculpting exercises and I'm am incredibly surprised at the results!  The upper body workouts are amazing and, the whole reason I'm here, the derriere moves are great!  I mean, there are more muscles in this rather large area of my body than I realized.  And Leandro's exercises are helping me get results.
