I'm going to challenge myself with Kelly's techniques and I venture you to do the same! Come on! We can get ourselves organized and keep more of our hard earned money. This could be fun!
Kelly Hancock, the popular money-saving expert behind the site FaithfulProvisions.com, has collected her "couponista" strategies into an entertaining and informative book, Saving Savvy: Smart and Easy Ways To Cut Your Spending In Half and Raise Your Standard of Living. (whew! ;-> )
From Chapter 1 "Save Money, Live Generously" Kelly gets you in the mood to slow down, understand what is truly necessary and get enthusiastic about your new journey of saving money. I'm pumped! I'm ready! She takes you through the organizational process of what your pantry should have stocked, which I think most of us are kind of clueless about, to Chapter 3 "Warming Up To The Freezer" with a very handy chart of the freezer life of most meats and cheeses. (Did you know you could freeze cheese? I didn't.)
I'm so happy to have "Save Money, Live Generously..." I really feel like I have a wonderful guide to saving money and providing healthy food for my family. And... guess what? I have one copy of "Saving Savvy" for a giveaway to one lucky Ann Again... and again Reviews reader! Follow the Rafflecopter instructions to enter:
